Privacy policy

Gliplog collects no personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What Gliplog stores

Your medicines, doses, injection sites, weigh-ins, HbA1c and glucose readings, side effects, notes, display settings, and any profile details you add (height and goal weight). They are stored only on your device: in your browser's storage, or in the Android app's private storage.

What Gliplog sends

Nothing you enter. There is no account, server, analytics, advertising, or third-party code. The web app loads its files from GitHub Pages and then works offline. When you're online, your browser occasionally checks for a newer version, and that check carries none of your data. The Android app has no network permission.

GitHub hosts these pages and may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, under GitHub's privacy statement. Those logs never include anything you enter in Gliplog.

Backups, reports, and shared images

A backup from Settings is a plain JSON file that goes wherever you save it. Gliplog never uploads it, and Android cloud backup is turned off for the app.

PDF reports and chart images are made on your device. They leave it only when you save or share them, and go only where you send them.

Deleting your data

Settings, Erase everything deletes all your data from the device. So does uninstalling the app or clearing this site's data in your browser. Without a backup, deleted data can't be recovered.

Age

You must be 18 or older to use Gliplog, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Gliplog collects no data from anyone.
